Such as the post length,quality content,improprer placements of ads as well as piling up of ads. Most bloggers concentrate on writing quality content (i believe). But there are certain things which might be seems silly but may kill your blog if you haven't have a look through. In here,i doesn't have a good explanations for why,but it might be due to somesort of psycological feelings,felt when we look our blog through the eyes of a visitor. Below,i explains some points,which,when cured,reflects your caring. ERROR LINKS: from the name itself you moght have got,what's the thing. Its just simply error links. Always a visitor hates error links. It irritates him. He might be enthusiastic and curious while clicking the link,but when it goes error,he will lose all the entire feeling,which was left for us. Next type of error links are social sharing buttons. Always,the visitor hates the highlighted social networks sharing buttons. I suggest you to use maximal of two. If you can,make it up one. Google plus,even though shabby,works fine for getting large google visits,page rank and adsense rating. So donot make error linking in that buttons,also donot prompt user to share or like or retweet. Just make the buttons as an ornament,then the user will automatically love it. UGLY BOTTOM: most of the newbie bloggers have a tendancy to leave their bottom of blog with nullness or advertisements. It will surely make a dark phase of your blog in user's mind. Please take care,after reading your post,the visitors will come down,most probably. Donot make him sad. If your post was dull,give him some thing to read,if he liked your post,give him more to see. I recommend you to fill your bottom with Top 10 posts and labels. COMMENT BOX: most of the blggers who use free templates,have a big problem,that their comment box below the post won't work properly. Also,avoid using your own comment box,try to get a googleplus or facebook comment box,as most users will be login to either of i. Also,those comments will boost your search traffic a million times. POPUPS: popups are the most dirty thing,a blog can have. Avoid it. SUBSCRIPTIONS: donot prompt the user to subscribe to oyur mails. Make them interesting and do it themselves. Always,put your subscription box at the top of your blog and below every post's content. THICKNESS: the thickness of your blog must be reduced. The visitors shall not feel your blog as an untidy library. NUMBER OF POSTS: limit your posts in home page. Never give a chance to scroll more than twice. 6-7 post are maximum per page. If the homepage feed is less,make the title sharper. HOMEPAGE: home page is all. Never pile up ads, if you can,just avoid all ads, i recommend a maximum of one display ad and one text link ad. Make use of adsense between posts,rather than putting it on side bars and bottom. Again i repeat,home page is all. Make it lusty,attractive with simple simple tricks.
